Filling a Critical Controller Position
In the competitive landscape of talent acquisition, nTech Workforce recently triumphed in filling a challenging Controller position for a small business. This success story not only highlights our expertise in matching top-tier candidates with niche roles, but also underscores our commitment to understanding our clients' unique needs.
The journey began when our Executive Management Team, through diligent networking, discovered a local trade association in need of a Controller. This was no ordinary hire; the association's existing Controller, with 16 years of dedicated service, had become an integral part of the organization - and was ready for retirement. The association sought a candidate with not just the requisite technical skills but also the dedication, loyalty, and problem-solving acumen that characterized their previous hire.
Our team embarked on a series of virtual and in-person meetings with the association's hiring team to truly grasp the depth of their requirements. We understood that the ideal candidate would need to embody the values of dedication, loyalty, and problem-solving that were so important to the association. Additionally, the candidate would need to be committed to a long-term tenure, understanding that there would be limited room for upward growth in terms of title.
Once the partnership was solidified, our Director of Talent Delivery meticulously documented the requirements, ensuring that the job description reflected the association's specific needs. A dedicated Client Success Manager was then assigned to the account, facilitating communication between our Talent Acquisition Team and the association's key stakeholders.
Our Talent Acquisition Team sprang into action, sourcing and qualifying a pool of 11 candidates. Five candidates were selected for interviews, and after a thorough evaluation process, one candidate emerged as the perfect fit. Despite the association's limited recent hiring experience, our team ensured a seamless onboarding process, handling background checks and screenings with expedited efficiency.
The selected candidate seamlessly transitioned into the role, receiving glowing feedback from both the association's previous Controller and the association itself. This success story not only showcases our ability to meet our clients' most demanding requirements but also underscores our commitment to building lasting partnership

From a Health Insurance Provider
In 2008, a large health insurance provider implemented an internally managed contingent staffing program that matured over the next eight years.
By 2016, they identified several job categories which were being filled by some of the same workers time and time again. They implemented one of the first managed direct-sourcing programs in 2016, selecting nTech to curate talent pools and optimize the use of direct-sourced and referred candidates.
They reduced costs by 4.8% over 5 years and reduced time-to-fill by 5 days (17.9%) by curating a talent pipeline. Within one year, they expanded from a pilot in one division to new business areas.

First-of-its-Kind
In 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, employers terminated workers as an immediate response to government mandates. nTech did not lay-off dozens of our hardest-working, front-line workers.
We knew our customers needed us to be flexible, to be ready for their immediate hiring needs following temporary closures. We delivered a first-of-its-kind training program to those without active jobs, paying these temporary employees regular wages, continuing all benefits, and providing virtual training to improve job readiness.
When our clients needed workers, our employees were ready to get back to work; they were better prepared and among the most qualified. nTech not only deepened trust with our employees but saved jobs in the process.

UniStar Nuclear Energy was promoted to seek results from nTech Workforce as we wanted to localize support, maintain expertise and keep cost level - and if possible, decrease them.

Employee-Centric
One of nTech's strongest qualities is listening to what their employees need, within reason. With the current situation now and when the pandemic first started, nTech made sure that the transition home was smooth and we have been able to continue working from home.
Personally, this allows me to excel at work and have the ability to put in more effort. There is also a community at nTech, and when I was first hired, I was welcomed with open arms and so were the many questions that I had as I got acquainted with the company. I know that I am valued at nTech not only by words but by actions.
The leadership has been helpful and motivating, creating pathways for growth. I can honestly say that working at nTech has boosted my happiness and given me a place that I can call my work home.

Great leaders understand the importance of trust. Our leadership is the best and they have all the qualities to build trust. The employees are given utmost respect.
It takes effort and dedication to build up trust like this. Our leaders are very transparent and actively listen, ask questions, encourage us to share our concerns.

In all different places I've worked, from automotive technician to retail associate to program manager, nTech has offered the most autonomy, support, and collaboration between colleagues.

Opportunities
One of the top priorities is growing from within and the idea is to prepare lower-level positions to be senior leaders. There is also open communication between employers and employees with many opportunities to discuss matters in an open forum.
New ideas are welcomed and encouraged which allows for each individual to grow their confidence to succeed at their job the best way they know-how.
I have never felt that any of my questions have been too small and are always answered with respect and encouragement to continue being curious about the "why" of what I am doing.

Validation
The most important part of my professional development and growth this year has been my work ethic being validated by upper management.
Meetings were set to discuss my contribution to the company and actions were taken to reflect the acknowledgment of that contribution. I think it is important to be your own self-advocate but it is extremely validating when you do not have to.
It has been made clear to me by multiple departments that they see a future for me at nTech and do not want to ever see me go, although I do know that if something came up that I wanted to pursue, they would support me in any way they could.
