Baltimore, MD, December 20, 2023 — nTech Workforce, a leading staffing and recruiting agency, proudly announces the successful completion of the Baltimore Workforce Leadership Academy by their Director of Business Strategy, Arthur Ransier, and his fellow participants. This achievement underscores nTech's commitment to fostering professional development within its team and supporting initiatives that enhance the broader workforce ecosystem.
The Baltimore Workforce Leadership Academy, a collaborative initiative launched by the United Way of Central Maryland and the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program with funding from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, brought together leaders from various sectors for a transformative year-long program. Through a series of retreats, workshops, and action learning projects, the Fellows engaged in addressing systemic challenges and creating inclusive solutions for economic opportunity in the Baltimore region.

Arthur Ransier, Director of Business Strategy at nTech Workforce shared his perspective on the program, reflecting on a decade of experience in the staffing industry. "Having worked 10 years for a staffing company, I was humbled by the breadth of knowledge shared in a room with those representing so many other parts of the Baltimore workforce ecosystem. Through the program, we were able to step out of our normal roles to evaluate deeper-rooted systems issues in the region, research associated opportunities, and collectively identify solutions through a race-equity lens which will elevate workers and employers throughout the community."
The Baltimore Workforce Leadership Academy is part of a broader initiative, with eight local academies launched in 2023. Academy alumni join the esteemed Aspen Institute’s Economic Opportunity Fellows Network, connecting with leaders from previous cohorts across the US and Canada.
Surajit Sengupta, President of nTech Workforce, expressed his congratulations to Arthur Ransier and emphasized the significance of the program for the company. "We applaud Arthur for his dedication to leadership in the region. The Baltimore Workforce Leadership Academy aligns seamlessly with nTech’s strategic initiative to forge partnerships with community leaders. This initiative not only resonates with our core values of leadership, efficiency, and community but also significantly contributes to the realization of our purpose — to serve customers as thought partners, fuel open innovation, and empower a quality workforce so that access to work is equitable, personal success is enabled, and business outcomes are meaningful."
The success of the 2023 Workforce Leadership Academy Fellows was highlighted by Elizabeth (Liz) Acosta, Associate Vice President of Governance at the United Way of Central Maryland. "I am so very proud of the 2023 Workforce Leadership Academy Fellows! Each one of these individuals represents a leader in the Baltimore region that has a passion for workforce development, a heart for employees with little to no voice, and a true desire to strengthen and improve our region's workforce ecosystem."
